14 Oct 2024 We've been married 45 years and we went to Oscar's Fish and the Oscar's Mexican restaurants while we were dating. Yes, there used to be two separate restaurants. Now, the menu contains both the Mexican food items and the fish items. We hadn't been back in a couple of years. The puffy tacos are so tasty. I had the No. 23, Norma's Plate: 1 cheese enchilada, 1 puffy taco, rice and beans. Perfect amount of food for me. The husband had the three puffy taco plate with rice and beans. Drinks were an iced tea ($2.49) and a Diet Coke ($1.79). The tab was $23.01. A great deal! There is an AMI internet jukebox. Love this. They have mounted speakers at two ends of the place and the sound is very good. There is parking right outside the restaurant, as well as a second lot across the street. Be careful when entering or exiting the restaurant. There is a 'drive-through' just outside the entrance. The cars pull up and the orders are taken to them. Service was just fine. Go there.

Every time I've been there there wait staff was friendly, food always good and at a very fair price so I don't know where the negative reviews come in.

Been going here my entire life but I live on the Far Northwest so it's a trek to get here but we'll worth the drive for puffy tacos and Fried fish. Great service and you drive up and get waited on in the car or come inside for table service. This place beats any other puffy tacos!

I did not get paid to post. This is my genuine review. I paid for my meal. Not sponsored/Not comped. My first time here and I liked it alot! I tried the Fried Fish plate. I also ordered a cheese enchilada with chili and it was delish! It was so good, I ordered a plate to go for dinner. The sweet tea was perfect! The chips and salsa yummy! Service was excellent! Ruby was our server and she was def on point. I will def visit again.
